With less than a 5 minute delay, Ina Fried of News.com had a running commentary of Steve Jobs’ keynote speech at MacWorld SF. And I didn’t even have to wait in line for four hours like I did in 2003! The coverage of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas was just as well covered and I didn’t have to fly in a geek filled sardine can, which is often the case when you head to Las Vegas from a Bay Area airport. Obviously I missed the social opportunities that surround the shows, but then again, I now have an extra grand that I didn’t spend on the shows that I can now blow on the new MacBook Pro!….. oh right honey, I mean to put into our IRAs!
